This meeting discusses one of the hardest and most contentious topics within the Beyond GDP arena, which is the relative benefits and trade-offs between dashboards and composite (single measure) indices. Composite indices can be simpler to interpret or communicate but run the risk of over-simplifying complex issues. This meeting will present new composite indices and include a discussion of best practices in developing composite indices and the latest innovations and potential approaches.
