Methodology

This workshop is organized by UNSD and UNECA. Objectives of the workshop include enhancing the participants’ understanding of SDMX standards, principles, and methodologies; training in the use of SDMX tools and software for SDG data and metadata exchange; promoting and advocating the use of SDMX for SDG monitoring and reporting; and facilitate knowledge sharing, deeper stakeholder engagement, and networking among SDG stakeholders to foster collaboration in the implementation of SDMX.

In response to a request by the State Statistical Service of Ukraine (SSSU), online training on Statistical Data and Metadata exchange is organized by UNSD. The objective of the workshop is to provide the participants with the principles of and common tools for SDMX data modeling, dissemination, and exchange, with a focus on the SDG data exchange.

This workshop is organized by UNSD and UNECA. The workshop aims to develop the capacity of Member States in establishing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) dashboards, reporting and dissemination platforms using Statistical Data and Metadata Exchange (SDMX) tools.

The objective of this workshop is to provide the participating SDG Custodian Agencies with the knowledge and skills required to set up automated data exchange of SDG indicators.

The main goal of the Workshop is to assist the participants to gain better understanding of the concepts and definitions set out in the “International Merchandise Trade Statistics: Concepts and Definitions 2010” (IMTS 2010); share best country practices, including on reflections regarding the “International Merchandise Trade Statistics: Compilers Manual, Revision 1 (IMTS 2010-CM).
