TRADE STATISTICS BRANCH
Since 1 January 2005, the Trade Statistics Branch (TSB) of the
United Nations Statistics Division covers three main areas of responsibilities,
namely International Merchandise Trade Statistics (IMTS), Statistics of International Trade
in Services (SITS) and Distributive Trade Statistics (DTS). For each of these statistical
areas TSB further develops the international methodology, collects and disseminates detailed
trade data and cooperates with countries and international organizations to strengthen
statistical capacity. TSB is also responsible for work in Basic Economic Statistics and
Tourism Statistics. Details are given on other web pages which can be linked to via the
left-hand menu. Some recent and upcoming events are indicated below and in the right-hand scroll menu.
