Reason for Latest Revision:
ISCED-A was developed at the time of the 2011 revision of ISCED97 to introduce an explicit coding scheme for the classification of educational attainment. Prior to this revision analysts used the classification of the levels of education programmes as a proxy for measuring educational attainment.
