The United Nations Statistics Division is currently undergoing a restructuring, which will also affect the work on statistical classifications. The Industrial and Energy Statistics Section, which was previously responsible for the coordination of classifications work, does no longer exist and it is planned that individual Branches of UNSD take over the responsibility for classifications applicable to their work areas. The UN Classifications Hotline will serve as a portal to direct your questions and comments to the appropriate contacts in the different Branches of UNSD.
