Explanatory note

This subclass includes: - gas-diesel oil (distillate fuel oil), i.e. a heavy oil distilling between 200ºC and 380ºC, but distilling less than 65% in volume at 250ºC, including losses, and 85% or more at 350ºC and having a flash point above 50ºC and a specific gravity higher than 0.82. (Other names for this product are diesel fuel, diesel oil, gas oil and solar oil.) This subclass also includes: - heavy oils obtained by blending, if their kinematic viscosity does not exceed 27.5 cSt at 38ºC - middle distillates intended for the petrochemical industry
