Debo de saber en que ISIC colocarían a los carteles fabricados a base de chapa que son utilizados habitualmente como señalización en las carreteras y los carteles no luminosos confeccionados con acrílico, y sus respectivos criterios que llevaron a ponerle dicho código.

Decision

There is no separate class in ISIC that explicitely or exclusively covers traffic signs or traffic signalling equipment or anything with that particular purpose. Since the items you mentioned (e.g. traffic signs made of metal) consist mainly of one material and do not fall in a category as electrical equipment of any kind, they will be classified according to the material used. Therefore the manufacturing of signs (for any purpose) made of metal will be classified in ISIC class 2899 (Manufacture of other fabricated metal products n.e.c.), while signs made of plastic materials (including acrylic, plexiglass) are classified in ISIC class 2520 (Manufacture of plastics products) and, similarly, signs made of wood are in class 2029 (Manufacture of other products of wood; manufacture of articles of cork, straw and plaiting materials).
