Expert Group on the Revision of the UN Framework for the Development of Environment Statistics (FDES)


The United Nations Statistical Commission, at its 41st Session (23-26 February 2010), endorsed a programme of work for the revision of the UN Framework for the Development of Environment Statistics (FDES).

The UN Statistical Commission recommended that an Expert Group be established to conduct the revision of the FDES and that all relevant stakeholders be engaged in the process. The Statistical Commission further provided a set of guiding principles for the programme of work.
