Methodology

Jointly with the release of the United Nations National Quality Assurance Frameworks Manual for Official Statistics, the Expert Group on National Quality Assurance Frameworks is issuing a self-assessment checklist based on the UN Quality Assurance Framework contained in the Manual. This self-assessment checklist is meant for conducting regular and rigorous quality assessments with the objective to identify improvement actions. It can also be used to provide an initial assessment for learning purposes or to introduce staff to quality assurance. You are invited to share any feedback on this self-assessment checklist, or your self-assessment, with the Expert Group at statistics@un.org.
