The Statistical Commission at its 54th session (28 February ‐ 3 March 2023) welcomed and endorsed the proposed road map for the development and implementation of a National Quality Assurance Framework (NQAF) for Official Statistics. The Roadmap is available here:

An initial version of this Roadmap was released for review and “testing” by the UN Expert Group on National Quality Assurance Frameworks (EG-NQAF) in August 2022
The Roadmap aims to support statisticians and managers in government statistical services (official statistics) in the development and implementation of a national quality assurance framework at their organization and/or throughout their national statistical system. It is based on materials included in the United Nations National Quality Assurance Frameworks Manual for Official Statistics (Manual) and provides available information in a concise and easily accessible manner.
