Description: The main objective is to strengthen the participants’ knowledge of national accounts concepts and methods relating to the implementation of international standards and best practices. This five-day seminar will focus on the decomposition of transactions included in GDP into price and volumes. Issues with the choice of the base and reference year and the use of deflation or extrapolation methods. Participants will be invited to list specific questions, topics, issues which will be discussed during the seminar. The seminar will consist of lectures and workshop sessions.
