UNSD is organizing a side-event during the 46th UN Statistical Commission on challenges for the 2020 census round with emphasis on possibilities for use of Big Data for census purposes. The side event will also feature a presentation by UNFPA on the approach of the thematic evaluation of its support to census data availability to inform decision-making and policy formulation based on censuses of the 2010 round.
