Ghana Broadcasting Corporation: Ghana joins in World Statistics Day
The Government Statistician, Dr. Grace Bediako, has called on Statisticians to let integrity and professionalism be their hallmark. She said the importance of statistics is critical if meaningful development is to be achieved. According to her, achieving the Millennium Development Goal (MDG) and reversing the spread of HIV/AIDS will be elusive without accurate statistics. Dr. Bediako was speaking at a forum to mark this year’s World Statistics Day in Accra.
