The Financial Express (Bangladesh): World Statistics Day Observed at EWU

 

Bangladesh Statistical Association (BSA) and East West University jointly organized a day-long seminar on Friday (October 22) at the auditorium of East West University to observe the "World Statistics Day". The theme of the seminar was "Statistics for All". Air vice marshal (rtd.) A K Khandker, B.U. psa, minister, Ministry of Planning graced this occasion as the chief guest and inaugurated this seminar. In his speech, the minister said that the need of collecting objective statistics is a must to formulate the development plans of our country.
