First workshop, Amman, Jordan, 28 October – 2 November 2007

This first workshop will bring together statistics compilers and customs officers of the ESCWA member countries Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, UAE, and Yemen plus Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia to discuss the basic data collection, institutional arrangements and the concepts and definitions of international merchandise trade statistics.
