Record Structure of COMTRADE data

The records are provided in text format that can be easily imported into a variety of software packages.  The fields in the record are all coded. This means that the countries (reporters and partners), and the commodities, are identified by numeric code, not by names. Descriptions of the record format and of all the codes are supplied with each order.
