CensusInfo includes census topics and a suggested list of census indicators with accompanying metadata. The census topics, indicators and metadata are based on the core topics of the United Nations Principles and Recommendations for Population and Housing Censuses, Rev.2. The template is aimed at helping countries to set up their own indicators and metadata for the adaptation of CensusInfo. Countries can customize the indicators according to their national priorities and needs. The indicators are identified with the objective of disseminating basic results of the census at different geographical levels.
