How the UN Regional and Global Hubs on Big Data and Data Science support climate change, biodiversity, and sustainable tourism

About
The session will discuss and showcase how the UN Climate Centre in Bilbao is supporting research and the build of skills globally, via collaboration with NSOs and the UN Regional Hubs. We will also hear from the (new) IMF Big Data Hub Center and UN Global Hub in China about the latest research being undertaken as well as collaborations with NSOs, Regional Hubs, and other partners.
The UN Regional Hubs of Brazil, Indonesia, Rwanda and UAE will each provide an update on their recent activities and collaborations, that have supported knowledge and capability building across their regions.
This is an interactive session with a panel session forming part of the overall programme; questions are welcomed from the floor.
