2009 Final worldwide consultation on draft of revised MSITS

The Manual on Statistics of International Trade in Services, first published in 2002, is currently being revised. This consultation document was prepared by the Interagency Task Force on Statistics of International Trade in Services (TFSITS) which is in charge of the update and which is comprised of the following members: the Statistical Office of the European Communities (Eurostat), the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), the United Nations Statistics Division (UNSD), the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). The current version of the draft document reflects the comments, suggestions made by more than a hundred national statistical offices, central/national banks and trade ministries who sent comments and completed the questionnaire in the second round of the worldwide consultation in August - November 2008.
Please be advised that after the completion of the third round of the worldwide consultation TFSITS will submit the draft manual to the 41st Session of Statistical Commission in 2010.
