12. Greek and Roman alphabets

Alphabets of unknown origin are, or were in a not too distant
past, in use for the Berber language Tuareg
(Tafinagh, a consonantal script possibly derived from the ancient
Numidian alphabet), and some regional languages in Indonesia:
Batak (in North Sumatra) and Buginese
(in Southwest Celebes). The latter is supposed to have had its
origins in Java, and thus be related to the scripts of Southern
India.
