UNSD in collaboration with UN Women is organizing a side-event during the 46th UN Statistical Commission to share the key findings of the latest assessment of progress towards gender equality and women’s empowerment with the statistical community. The event will also be an opportunity for statisticians to take stock of the methodological advances achieved under the Evidence and Data for Gender Equality (EDGE) project, aiming at developing and piloting statistical guidelines to measure assets ownership and entrepreneurship from a gender perspective.
