Note:
The data relate to wage-earners and salaried employers in mining, manufacturing, construction and building, transport, commerce, personal and public services. The statistics usually refer to the total number at work at a specified date in each month or quarter. For certain countries, however, the data refer to the average number of employed in the period. |
