Information Briefing: United Nations World Data Forum and the Road to Bern

United Nations Statistics Division and Switzerland organized an information briefing session on the United Nations World Data Forum and the Road to Bern on the sidelines of the 51st session of the United Nations Statistical Commission. The event was hosted by UN Women in New York and was attended by over 100 participants from diverse communities, including international organizations, national statistics offices, and the private sector as well as virtually through live webcasting.
The session provided an overview of the programme development process, the Road to Bern, key highlights on the Global Forum on Gender Statistics, and UN Women 's work linked to the Road to Bern, followed by a Q&A session. Speakers included representatives from Switzerland, members of the Secretariat and the Programme Committee.
