From 03 to 06 October, the UN World Data Forum will gather in Bern, Switzerland, data and statistical experts, civil society, international and regional agencies, the media, academia, and professional bodies to outline the way forward to continue advancing data and their effective use and more.

To satisfy more inclusive and equitable participation in the United Nations Word Data Forum under a hybrid format, the Forum organisers gave the opportunity to interested groups or organisations to host a Local Forum Meet Up. A local Forum meet-up is a local meeting that takes place, in-person, in parallel with the UN World Data Forum being held in Bern, Switzerland between 3 and 6 October 2021. The registration to hold a local meet up closed on 13 September 2021.
