Glossary of the 1993 SNA - Definition of Term

TermSocial benefits in kind
DefinitionSocial benefits in kind consist of (a) social security benefits, reimbursements, (b) other social security benefits in kind, (c) social assistance benefits in kind; in other words they are equal to social transfers in kind excluding transfers of individual non-market goods and services.
