Abstract

The purpose of the Handbook of National Accounting: Financial Production, Flows and Stocks is to strengthen the statistical capacity for compiling financial transactions in the national accounts, in accordance with the implementation programme for the 2008 SNA. The concepts are described and defined in line with the 2008 SNA. The Handbook provides practical guidance on the calculation and allocation of the production of various types of financial services. It also deals with the design, compilation and use of an integrated system of sectoral financial accounts, other flow accounts and balance sheets.
