Omar Muro

Biography

Mr. Omar Muro is currently Deputy General Director of Sociodemographic Administrative Records, at the National Institute of Statistics and Geography of Mexico, he directs projects focused on the use of administrative data, collected by different state offices and their use for the production of official social and demographic statistics. Mastered from the Postgraduate College in Statistics, Certificated in Financial Risks by the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education, Mr. Muro also has extensive experience in public and private administration, including different management and decision-making positions in the area of Statistics and Finance, such as Director of Distribution and Commercialization of Electric Power at the Undersecretariat of Electricity, Financial Control and Analysis Manager at the Institute of the National Fund for Workers' Housing, among others. His experience and knowledge led him to be part of the professors' staff of the Technological Institute of Higher Studies of Monterrey.
