Alvaro Bellolio

Biography

Alvaro Bellolio is the Director of School of Governmet at the Universidad Nacional Andres Bello. He was previously the National Director of Inmigration Service of Chile and the Chief of the Department of Inmigration and Forgein Affairs. Has a double major in Industrial Engineering and Computer Science, also a Master in Public Policy at U. Chicago. He has worked in academia, national and international organizations, nonprofits and is the current chair of the Working Party on Migration at OECD. He specializes in policy evaluation, digitalization and modernization of public institutions, data science and migration policy. Has over 20 publications and two books, both related to migration policy and management.
