Tinashe Enock Mwadiwa is a Manager at the Zimbabwe National Statistics Agency (ZIMSTAT) responsible for Gender and Education Statistics, a role that he assumed since 2012. Prior to 2012, he worked as a Statistician responsible for Vital Statistics.
His current responsibilities include mainstreaming gender in the statistical production process with a view of ensuring that all statistics coming out of the Agency carry a gender perspective.
Tinashe has been central in the production of all Gender Statistics Reports produced by ZIMSTAT. His wish working in the gender statistics sector is to see policy formulation and implementation that is informed by credible data.
Tinashe has represented his country in various national, regional and global groupings that deal with gender statistics.
He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Statistics and Geography and a Master of Science in Population Studies.
