Biography
Caroline Mutwiri is a statistician at the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics. Currently, she works in the Gender Statistics Section under the Directorate of Population and Social Statistics, where she has served since 2017. She has a wealth of work experience in research and data management for many years from both private and public organizations. She is the gender data focal point person from Kenya for the Gender Data Network (AGDN) and Africa Group on Gender Statistics (AGGeS). She is a strong advocate for gender equality through implementation of the SDGs and other international, regional and national frameworks through production and use of gender statistics to inform policies and programs that are gender sensitive.
