Mode of implementation: “My Capital” is made up of 27 ebooks, one for the capital of each Brazilian federation unit. The e-book from Belém (capital of Pará) opened the collection in 2021 and the other volumes were released throughout the same year, always on each city's anniversary date. As the focus is on children, the e-books present the capitals with short and light texts, accompanied by illustrations that show their main characteristics, tourist attractions, culinary items, culture, as well as peculiar aspects of each location. To continue the project, in 2023 we produced short videos with updated population data for each capital and illustrations for the ebooks. The videos are being posted throughout this year on our social networks, always on the anniversary date of each capital. All e-books are available for free download at the IBGE online store.

Outcomes: The project was very successful on social media, generating many shares, downloads and interactions. The idea is to edit e-books, transforming them into printed publications.

Challenges: The project's biggest challenge is to keep it current, that is, with updated data from the capitals. This has been possible as we are sharing the ebooks illustrations in the form of promotional videos on social media, with data from the website @cidades. We think that videos can be another way to promote “My capital” project.
