Statistical Literacy Initatives Inventory

Purpose: The major aim is of this organization, Global Statistical Alliance, is to promote collaboration among countries on statistical literacy. Our areas of interest include but not limited to Data Science, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Meta-Analysis, Hands-On Software Training, Official Statistics and Big Data. This collaboration is organized by two ISLP country coordinators from Nigeria and Pakistan. The first webinar is open to all especially participants from Nigeria, Pakistan, India, Zambia and Sri Lanka. The specific objectives are;

• To encourage, support, create and promotion statistical literacy around the world;
• To acquire or provide statistical literacy in a virtual sense,
• To exchange needs, information and resources, and learn to disseminate statistical literacy in our communities,
• To facilitate networking among statisticians in various countries of the world,
• To advance the teaching, research and practice of statistics in the collaborating countries and beyond, and
• To foster ethical orientation among practitioners.
