Current Task Teams

At the UN Statistical Commission in March 2019, the Annual meeting of GIST agreed that the work of several of the task teams established in 2018 was finalized and agreed to create four new task teams, these were soon after merged into the following three:

• Online gateway and e-learning community of practice
• Statistical Literacy in the context of the 2030 Agenda
• Addressing specific NSO demands

GIST members are contributing to one or two of the task teams. Information about the work of the three task teams can be found through annual meeting updates and minutes from GIST board meetings.

UN SDG learn

The UN SDG:Learn platform now has a dedicated starting page for online and face-to-face courses in statistics. It is a hub where various statistics course providers share information about their courses and where you find the links to go to their pages to take the course.
