Joint report of the Secretary-General and the World Tourism Organization on Tourism Statistics

The report was submitted to the Statistical Commission in accordance with a request of the Commission at its thirty-fifth session. It contains a description of activities undertaken in response to the actions of the Commission at that session with regard to the Commission's actions at that session concerning the revision of international recommendations for tourism statistics. The draft version of thee International Recommendations on Tourism Statistics 2008 (IRTS 2008) draft version was submitted to the Commission as a background document for consideration and adoption.
