UNdata is the United Nations data on official statistics, giving free access to current, relevant, and reliable statistics. The United Nations provides the service to users of data around the world. It offers easy access to data compiled and produced by United Nations agencies and other organizations.
UNdata is not replacing UN Comtrade. UN Comtrade is a comprehensive database for international merchandise and services trade statistics containing billions of trade records in tens of product classifications broken down at least by trading partners. In addition, the UN Comtrade UI and API offer many more features specific to this large trade statistics dataset, e.g., the analysis by partners and reporters to analyze mirror statistics.
UNdata contains only around 40 million trade records in the 2-digit HS classification and is searchable only by reporters.
