Problems and experiences in linkage and integrated use of different data sources of vital statistics and rates: Some experiences outside East and South Asia region

Population register as a source
The article briefly reviews two different data sources for vital statistics - civil registration and population register. The article then explains how data linkages could be accomplished, especially through various administrative sources. Experiences from Denmark, the Netherlands and Israel are shared in the article. 

The article was presented at the East and South Asian Workshop on Strategies for Accelerating the Improvement of Civil Registration and Vital Statistics Systems in 1993.
