Soleil leads product marketing for data visualization and business intelligence solutions at Google Cloud to help organizations build more data-driven cultures. Recently, he’s collaborated with the World Bank, UN Foundation and the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data to launch Visualize 2030, a data storytelling contest for student data journalists, data analysts, and data visualization nerds.
Before Google, Soleil has held roles in technology startup marketing, consulting and creative services, music production and long ago in geology and GIS. Soleil holds both an MBA and Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Washington and lives in the epicenter of clouds -- Seattle, Washington, USA -- where it’s overcast or raining most of the year, and where today’s cloud computing giants call home.
