Lykke E. Andersen holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Aarhus, Denmark. She has conducted research on environment and development in Latin America for more than 20 years as Executive Director of INESAD, Scientific Manager at Conservation International Bolivia, Chief Economist at the Bolivian Catholic University and as a consultant for the World Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, the Andean Development Bank, United Nations and various other development institutions. She is a prolific writer with more than 300 publications, including a dozen books and more than 20 papers in peer-reviewed journals (https://www.inesad.edu.bo/en/lykke-eg-andersens-publications/).
