This session will underline the importance of international (and regional) institutions in building trust in statistics. It will describe the work being done to monitor the UN Fundamental Principles, and the role of the ISI In statistical ethics. The session will also highlight the work being done by Eurostat and the impact of the African Charter on Statistics, and give some insights from national statistical offices of working with international frameworks.
