Title: International Conference on Tourism, Religions and Dialogue of Cultures; Cordoba, Spain, 29-31 October 2007

Abstract: At the invitation of the Government of Spain, the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) organized the International Conference on Tourism, Religions and Dialogue of Cultures. This Conference was held in Cordoba, Spain, from 29 to 31 October 2007 in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Commerce, the Junta of Andalusia and the Municipality of Cordoba. The present publication contains the speeches and presentations delivered at the Conference, as well as initiatives and case studies featured in the three panels of the event: (a) Tourism, Religions and the Dialogue of Civilizations, (b) Religious Tourism and (c) Sustainability of Religious Tourism Destinations.
