Abstract

This textbook provides simple numerical examples and exercises to facilitate understanding. It is based on the materials prepared for the regional workshops organized by the African Development Bank (AfDB). Its focus is mainly on the compilation of production accounts using methods that are recommended by the 2008 SNA but simpler to implement in the context of developing countries. The textbook uses a very practical approach.
