Quality Assurance   Meetings and Events

The Workshop will train participants of national statistical offices on quality assurance and its implementation throughout the national statistical system. It will provide an overview of the contents of the Manual and the UN National Quality Assurance Framework. Additionally, the workshop will introduce the new Module for Quality Assurance when using Administrative and Other Data Sources and the Maturity Model on Quality Culture. This workshop will offer an opportunity for countries to share their practices and challenges in implementing their national quality assurance frameworks.

The workshop is organized jointly by the United Nations Statistics Division (UNSD), the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), the Statistical, Economic and Social Research and Training Centre for Islamic Countries (SESRIC)), the Statistical Centre for the Cooperation Council for the Arab Countries of the Gulf (GCC-Stat) and the Arab Institute for Training and Research in Statistics (AITRS), in cooperation with the Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT). SESRIC will host the training workshop at its Headquarters.
