The newly revised and renamed Handbook on Geospatial Infrastructure in Support of Census Activities reflects the recommendations of the expert group meetings and regional workshops on GIS and census-mapping.
The purpose of the workshops are to highlight the significant capabilities of GIS and geospatial technologies with regard to census mapping, enumeration operations, advanced avalysis of cesus data, and how to successfully implement and use these technologies.
