Head of the Division for Strategic policy and integrate planning at the Italian National Institute of Statistics (Istat) since 2021, responsible for the strategic planning and programming activities, the Gender Equality Plan and the Gender budgeting.
Head of the Division for data collection organization from 2017 to 2020, responsible for the management of organizational and administrative processes to support statistical data collection.
Expert on gender statistics, member of the Interagency and Expert Group on Gender Statistics since 2006, actively involved in all the Global Forums presenting results of studies and researches on women's political participation, data and policies, indicators for gender analysis. Member of the Expert Group of the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE) aimed at defining the Gender Equality Index. Strongly involved in the activities on gender statistics promoted at Regional level by UNECE: member of the "Task Force on Communicating gender statistics" and of the "Task force on Gender Equality Indicators. Expert in international projects of cooperation for "Enhancing the quality of the statistical system" in Cambodia, for the "Improvement of the national statistical system through the enhancement of the Central Administration of Statistics of Lebanon", for the "Modernization of Statistique Tunisie" in Tunisia and Coordinator of the Component on Institutional building in the project "Strengthening statistical capacities to improve climate change management in the Mekong region" for Lao, Vietnam and Cambodia.
