Hyeshin Park

Ms. Hyeshin Park is an Economist and Gender Programme Coordinator at the OECD Development Centre, where she leads the Gender Programme, addressing gender inequality through evidence-based analysis and strategic policy dialogue. She drives initiatives that uncover the root causes of gender disparities, fostering global discussions to advance gender equality and women's empowerment. Ms. Park oversees the production of the OECD's Social Institutions and Gender Index (SIGI), directing its global and regional analyses across Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia.
She joined the OECD in 2011 and her expertise spans gender equality, women's empowerment, labor markets, and international migration. Ms. Park holds a Master's degree in Development Economics from Universite Paris 1, Pantheon-Sorbonne.
