Driving Change with Gender Statistics: A Path to Equality

Asma Akhter

Deputy Director, Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS)

Asma Akhter with 13 years of experience in official statistics, leads the Gender Statistics Cell in Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS) to strengthen gender statistics and ensure the systematic collection and use of sex-disaggregated data for evidence-based policymaking.
