Philip Crehan

Biography

Philip Crehan is the Founder of Eolas Consulting, a firm that generates data with LGBTQ+ people and works toward economic inclusion. He has 16 years of experience in economic development, particularly with the World Bank, Inter‐American Development Bank, Asian Development Bank, USAID, and numerous multinational corporations and organizations. He’s collaborated extensively with UNDP, the OAS, the World Economic Forum, and worked alongside nine governments throughout North America, Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe, Central Asia, and South and Southeast Asia.

Recently, he was one of the founding members and lead organizers of LGBTQ+ data-driven roundtables throughout the Caribbean, which for the first time, convened researchers, civil society, governments, the private sector, economic development organizations, and economists - all to discuss how to turn LGBTQ+ data into policy interventions. Prior, he was the Principal Investigator of research across 12 countries in the Caribbean, which generated the largest dataset in the region.
