Mamadou Ngalgou Kane

Biography

Mr. Mamadou Ngalgou Kane, is a Statistician-Economist Engineer (ISE), trained at the Institut National de Statistique et d'Economie Appliquee (INSEA) in Rabat (Morocco).

He joined National Agency of Statistics and Demography (ANSD) of Senegal in 2006, working mainly on national accounts.

Between 2015 and 2018, he was responsible for the technical coordination of the Rebasing for Senegal's national accounts.

Since December 2020, he has held the position of Director of Economic Statistics and National Accounts at ANSD.

In this role, he oversaw the development of satellite household production accounts in 2022, following the completion of the first edition of the Time-use survey (TUS) in Senegal in 2021.
