Iliana Vaca-Trigo

Biography

Iliana Vaca-Trigo is a Statistician in the Social and Gender Statistics Section at the United Nations Statistics Division. Previously she led the research and statistics area of ECLAC's Division for Gender Affairs in Santiago, Chile. Her main areas of work include the analysis of time use, the care economy, the labour market and gender mainstreaming in the production, dissemination and use of official indicators and statistics in Latin America and the Caribbean.

She obtained a Master's degree and pursued doctoral studies in Statistics at the Iowa State University.
