Biography

Amlan Odette SEMEVO is a Demographic Engineer, graduated from the Institute of Training and Demographic Research (IFORD) in Yaoundé, Cameroon, with practical skills and expertise in statistical production. She is currently in charge of studies at the Department of Demographic and Social Statistics of the National Institute of Statistics and Demography (INStaD) of Benin. Her previous research has focused on gender relations within couples and the situation of children in households. She also works on population and development issues. She participates in carrying out large-scale surveys such as the General Population and Housing Census, Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS), Multiple Indicator Cluster Surveys (MICS), migration surveys and many other surveys. A. odette SEMEVO is involved in data quality monitoring, data analysis and report writing. In Benin, she participates in activities within the framework of the National Observatory of the Demographic Dividend.
